Why do we feel safe under blankets?

silverwing100:

It’s not like the murderer will come in all like:

And you’ll be like:

And then he sees you’re under a blanket and he’ll be like:

“I’m gonna kill you and——Ahhh shit! She’s under a blanket!”

This is the best post I’ve seen in a while lmfao.

Dat Ranking Board (spoilers for season 9)

I’ve noticed that the Director uses the board not necessarily in a strictly objective manner. He rewarded Maine and Wyoming for their “innovation” in using live ammunition on the training floor, bumping them up to second and third positions. On the same token, when South mouths off to the Director (and because she was being South), he bumps her down despite the “success” of the mission.

From what I’ve seen of the movements up and down on the board, the Director uses that board against his agents, especially those who really hinge on it for their self-worth (i.e. South, who continues to drop lower, and CT, who’s never on it in the first place). This may also qualify as why he dropped Carolina down to number two after the Sarcophagus mission. Texas had never needed to be on the board to do her job well (being the one-woman clean up crew for the beginning of the season), but the Director still stuck her on said board. When factoring the scene in which the Director speaks to Carolina about Phase 2 of the Project, I’m even more convinced that he’s using dropping her to number two in order to manipulate her further into his plans.

ask-agentyork:

York’s original ranking when season 9 began was number 2, then during the breifing where the team is discussing the capture of the Sarcohpagus, his ranking goes all the way down to 6, then at the end of season 9, hes back below carolina at number 3…so pretty much, York gets his eye blown up and he moves down a rank… but he sets off the alarm “Blowing their cover” and he gets to rank number 3

But the American version.

Finished watching the RvB Season 9 commentary

emuuwood:

I am such a commentary whore, I almost enjoy it more than the actual movie.

Also every time Carolina and York had one of their moments I just wanted someone to be like “and this is the part where they were supposed to just start making out, but we had to cut it”

I think I may ship them TOO hard

LMFAO there is no such thing as shipping Carolina and York too hard. I can hardly wait for Christmas to watch Season 9 on DVD.

I keep seeing people posting Batfamily pictures with Jason Todd in them.

batoudopant:

My dislike for the character aside, does he really count still as a member of the ‘family?’

I mean he seems to hate (dislike, ignore, what have you) them, they seem to harbor a strong dislike for him, he’s tried to kill (seemingly) a couple members a few times…

He really seems like his own, separate entity rather than part of the Batfamily whole.

Regardless of whether or not he chooses to be part of the family, he’s still part of the family. If I started hating my family and attempting to hurt them, I would still be a part of my family. Family goes deeper than that.

As for fanon, people can post whatever they want and etc. so whether or not he’s in Batfamily pictures is up to the individual artist, really. I’ve seen it both ways (with and without him).

Today’s RvB

emuuwood:

is it a PSA? does anyone know?

I’ve completely lost track

I think it’s an episode, as the DVD comes out on the 15th and if it’s like Season 8, there’s 20 episodes (meaning tonight would be 19, and the 14th would be 20).

Can you please help Marley!?
This little family cat was shot and now he needs surgery desperately! Any little dollar would help him get the surgery he needs. I can tell his family loves him very much and needs help.

Come Fly With Me: I just want to point out

sinostrocular:

fantomex:

That this quote “The world’s greatest detective, and you still haven’t figured it out? Life’s just a game, Batman… and this time, you lose.” is NOT said by Jason Todd. It is in fact said by Clayface in Hush, who was, at the time, mimicking the role of Todd.

Yep, the joys of being a fan of DC usually involve writers changing/re-writing/doing whatever the hell they want with certain storylines. I don’t know if fandom perpetuates the story, but it’s said that Winick read Hush and was like “HEY YOU KNOW WHAT’S A NEAT IDEA? Bringing Jason back.” Thus Batman Annual 25 was written in which Jason was around for half the battle.

Yeah, it doesn’t make much sense to me either, but thought I’d just point it out!

I just can’t even.

People are stupid.

Actually, in Batman Annual 25, it’s stated that Jason was there for half the battle (from the beginning to page ~8 or 9 when Jason goes running off into the graveyard). So he did say that.
